View From the Window at Le Gras is a black and white, grainy looking, and incredibly blurry and smeared photo taken in the 1820's. The image just landscapes the area in which one would see if they were atop that building and looking out. The sole reason why it doesn't appear to be in HD is because it is the first know photo to be taken. When I first saw this picture, my mind just travels through the evolution of images and technology and it's amazing to see where it all started. The photographer definitely had to be very patient due to the incredibly long exposure time and Joseph Niepce just wanted to see if he can produce a still image, so camera obscura was born. Due to it being the first and Joseph didn't have too much significant intentions, it turned out really well and those that view it are just awe at how impressive it was for it's time and oh much capture quality has changed.
